HERE ARE SOME REMINDERS TO MAKE YOUR RENTAL EXPERIENCE RUN SMOOTHLY SO THAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CAN GET OUT AND ENJOY YOUR CAMPING EXPERIENCE .

DON'T DELAY YOUR CAMPING TRIP CALL US 3 – 4 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE. WE NEED TO SET A TIME FOR YOUR DEMONSTRATION CLASS SO THAT THINGS RUN SMOOTHLY ON YOUR DAY OF PICK UP.
ALL PICK UPS ARE BETWEEN 2:30PM AND 4:00PM. ALL UNITS ARE TO BE RETURNED BY NOON. PLEASE PLAN ON BEING HERE FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR UPON PICK-UP. YOU WILL BE PHYSICALLY INVOLVED IN THE SET-UP, CLOSURE AND HITCHING THE UNIT.
YOUR HITCH AND WIRING MUST BE IN WORKING ORDER:
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS, PLEASE CONTACT US A WEEK OR SO PRIOR TO MAKE NECESSARY CHANGES OR REPAIRS. ALL TENT CAMPERS NOW HAVE A 7 BLADE CONNECTION. IF YOUR TOW VEHICLE HAS A 4 PIN YOU CAN PURCHASE AN ADAPTOR FOR APPROXIMATELY $15.00.
IF YOU ARE RENTING A TRAILER WITH BRAKES IT IS ILLEGAL TO USE AN ADAPTER. IT MUST BE WIRED CORRECTLY AND BY LAW YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING BRAKE CONTROLLER. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT THESE ITEMS ARE, PLEASE CONTACT US AND WE CAN EXPLAIN AND/OR INSTALLTHE PROPER EQUIPMENT. FOR YOUR SAFETY, NO TRAILER EQUIPPED WITH BRAKES WILL LEAVE WITHOUT THE PROPER WIRING AND A WORKING BRAKE CONTROLLER. A 2” BALL IS NECESSARY FOR ALL OF OUR TRAILERS.
SHOULD WE HAVE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS OR REPAIR TO YOUR EQUIPMENT, PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE A CHARGE FOR THESE SERVICES. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IN THE HEAT OF THE SEASON OUR TECHS ARE EXTREMELY BUSY AND MAY NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE REPAIRS IMMEDIATELY.
IF FOR SOME REASON YOU RUN LATE PLEASE CONTACT US SO THAT WE CAN MAKE ADJUSTMENTS. SOMETIMES TRAFFIC DOES NOT COOPERATE SO PLEASE CALL IF YOU’RE LATE. PERMANATE I-PASS MODULES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ON ALL RENTALS. THE CHARGE IS 10.00/RENTAL NO REFUNDS ON UNUSED AMOUNT EVERYONE GETS CHARGED THE SAME. SHOULD THAT MODULE BE REMOVED FOR ANY REASON THE CUSTOMER WILL BE $50.00 FOR REPLACEMENT.
*IF YOU DROP YOUR CAMPER OUT FRONT PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT CAMPER UNTIL WE CHECK IT IN*. YOU ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR OPENING THE UNIT UPON RETURN. PLEASE AGAIN PLAN ON BEING HERE FOR ONE HOUR. IF YOU ARE NOT PRESENT AT DROP OFF AND/OR YOU DO NOT OPEN THE UNIT YOURSELF, REMEMBER YOU WILL STILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES INCURRED PRIOR TO IT BEING CHECKED IN. PLEASE CALL AND LEAVE A MESSAGE THAT YOU HAVE DROPPED YOUR CAMPER AND THE LAST FOUR OF VIN ON THE CAMPER YOU RENTED. LEAVE A NUMBER SO THAT WE MAY CALL YOU WITH ANY CONCERNS.
All recreational vehicles are winterized November 1st thru April 1st. You will be able to use the toilet area (flushing with RV antifreeze) although no water is allowed in the system. You will receive double miles at that time. Should you be going somewhere warm you can have the RV de-winterized but it must be winterized prior to returning to cold weather states. The double miles will more than compensate for the cost of having these services done. Should we de-winterize the RV for you prior to departure you will not receive the double miles.
